what is Homeopathy ?
Homeopathy was developed in the late 1700s in Germany. It is an advanced, effective, and gentle alternative system of holistic medicine that has been successfully used for over two hundred years in many countries. Homeopathy is based on the theory of ‘like cures like’. In other words, something that brings on symptoms in a healthy person, a tiny dose of that substance can treat the symptoms in someone who is not well.
The truth of this law was discovered by a German scientist Dr. Samuel Hahnemann in 1796 and has been verified experimentally and clinically for 200 years. Rig Veda, the sourcebook from which Ayurveda originated, states that a cure for poison lies in the poison itself. It was by accident that the German physician Dr. Christian Fredericke Samuel Hahnemann came across a similar statement by Dr. Cullen that the Cinchona barks decoction (which helps to relieve the symptoms of malaria) causes intermittent fever in healthy persons. Homeopathic remedies are meant to trigger the body’s own natural healing abilities and treat the person as a whole.
